History buffs, architecture lovers and interior design aficionados eagerly anticipate the Old Mandeville Historic Association’s Mother’s Day Home Tour each year. This year marks the 13th annual event, titled "Spring Mix: Creole to Mid-century Modern". This tour will explore 100 years of architecture in Old Mandeville. Six homes will be featured on the tour this year, plus the Jean Baptiste Lang House. 

 

 

Do-it-Yourself Arts & Crafts

Looking for a fun activity with the moms in your life this Mother’s Day? Make some memories that you can take home and put on your wall! Painting with a Twist – Mandeville, 2121 N. Causeway Blvd., has two activities to complete. Paint "Vibrant Sunflowers" with mom and even make a DIY candle. This event will take place on Saturday, May 13, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Multiple canvas choices allow participants to choose the ideal layout for their painting’s eventual place in the home.
